So let's bring everyone back around the table.

Open letter

Dear friends, dear politicians, dear retailers, dear people of Brussels,

It is time to say things as they are and, above all, to act for Brussels.

For years, with BXLOVE, we have mobilised retailers, restaurateurs, entrepreneurs, ambassadors and talents around one idea: making the image of Brussels more beautiful.

Today, resources are shrinking.

So our message is simple:

We'll have to do better with less. 💙

And to do better, let's start by no longer working each in our own corner.

Let's bring everyone back around the table.

Politicians, municipalities, retailers, hospitality, tourism, culture, entrepreneurs, associations, digital players and citizens.

Invitations will be sent to the cities and municipalities of Brussels, to the institutions in charge of the city's image, to Entreprendre, Visit, Local Guide and to everyone who makes Brussels shine every day.

With a single priority:

Brussels.

We are not looking to create yet another structure.

We want to gather those who want to work, propose and take action.

If that's you, come and sit around the table.

Let's get to work! For Brussels. 💙

Bernard Frisque

President — BXLOVE

The BXLOVE initiative for the image of Brussels

BXLOVE is a Brussels initiative led by Bernard Frisque that has mobilised retailers, restaurateurs, hospitality, entrepreneurs and ambassadors for years to improve the image, attractiveness and tourism appeal of Brussels. As public budgets shrink and a new Brussels government takes office, this round table brings together the 19 municipalities, the Brussels-Capital Region, Visit Brussels, hub.brussels, Local Guide and players from tourism, culture, retail and digital around a single priority: Brussels. The goal: doing better with less, coordinating Brussels city marketing and restoring pride in the capital of Europe. Highlight: a gala dinner in April 2027.
